Villars is a Winter
paradise for snow enthusiasts!
With
37 installations providing 120 km. of well maintained and
safe clearly marked tracks linking Villars (1'250 m.) and
the glacier of Diablerets (3'000 m.) passing by les Chaux,
le Meilleret and Isenaux.
A variety
of broad tracks catering to all levels are available to snowjetters.
Easy tracks (blue marks), red marked for more advanced adepts
and black for confirmed experts. For cross country specialists,
44 km. of sign-posted ski-tracks, up-hill down dale, should
satisfy highest expectations. Several ski-schools and a kindersnowgarden
for 3 year olds and up will provide a quick and painless introduction
for beginners and enhancement of existing skills for the more
experienced.
Glorious
walks on foot or snowshoes supplemented by existing refreshment
facilities will bring our visitors closer to nature as they
enjoy a breath of exhilarating mountain air. Villars also
offers a sledge run, a covered artificial ice-rink, indoor
heated swimming pools and bowling, indoor tennis courts and
paragliding: in short everything to satisfy your most exigent
needs.
